Rubinetterie Teorema was founded in 1905 in Lumezzane (near Brescia – North Italy) with the name “Metallurgica Bonomi”, becoming specialized in the metals working.
In 1970 it changed its name in this actual one, becoming specialized in the production of taps and mixers for the bathroom and for the kitchen.
In 1989 the new production seat was built with innovative technologies, production and quality control systems.
From 2001 Teorema has a robotized island which allows to change the production cycle in very small times, notably reducing the managements costs.

“Water Saving Philosophy” mission
Saving water and energy is the declared goal of the Water Saving Philosophy, the new mission of Rubinetterie Teorema.
Making the users aware about the necessity of a rational use of an extremely precious good such as water (the gold of tomorrow) is the ambitious project in which Teorema is continuously investing, making reference to the relation between Economy and Ecology, Ethics and Aesthetics and producing according to effective rules that safeguard the environment.
As told by Emanuela Palazzani, the company aims to satisfy that segment of market which invests in the bathroom considering a correct price for products with a good design which stands out from the others remaining protagonist of our everyday life for different years.
The direction followed by Teorema started in 2006 with the launch of Jetto, going on with Tree and Duck in 2007 and with Tamo and Tamo2 in 2008. So the company can boast a complete range of water saving products.
The effective water saving of the last new tap has been quantified about 50% - considering a consumption of 215 litres pro capite a day (40 of which for lavabo – bidet), it is equal to 20 litres a day. The annual saving results to be 7.300 litres pro capite, which corresponds to 1.825.000 m3 of water in a city of 250.0000 citizens (for example Brescia). Considering the cost of the water of about 2 Euros/ m3, we can talk about a saving of about 3,6 millions of Euros a year.
