At the G8 in L'Aquila 40% of water is saved thanks to the mixers produced
by Teorema

The G8 meeting at L’Aquila is not only an “unique” event for the number of the participant Lands but it is also an “historical” one for the involvement of the emergent Lands.
Among the discussion themes of the world leaders, an important rule has been given to the campaign against the weather changes and to the access to the water for the African people: once again the sparing use of the water resources of the planet is one of the priorities of the next years, for everyone indistinctly.
The organizers wanted to give a concrete signal, restructuring the barracks of Coppito at L’Aquila where the International Delegations have been lodged and whose rooms will be used to temporarily lodge the people who has lost their own house for the seism.
The organisation has chosen the water saving taps Talia by Rubinetterie Teorema, an important reconnaissance which ideally rewards the efforts made by the company for the research, the development and the production of products which protect the environment.
The company’s strategy is based on an innovative concept: the products, with their technical features, become decisive for the achievement of the defined aims-; a revolutionary spirit which conjugates technology, design, personality, style with an accessible price.
Making the users aware about the necessity of a rational use of an extremely precious good such as water is the ambitious project in which the Italian company is continuously investing, making reference to the relation between Economy and Ecology, Ethics and Aesthetics (the 4 E of the Water Saving Philosophy by Teorema).

The Talia mixer too will enter, starting from September, in the Water Saving Family taps, able to limit the consummation of the environment resources, easy to use, innovative and future friendly.
Beyond the entrance of Talia in the Water Saving Collection, the 2009 is also the year during which Teorema has completely changed the layout of its own production seat in Flero (Brescia - North Italy).
The company has used not only its inner resources, but also the collaboration of the University of Brescia for this reorganisation. A necessary work to bring the production near and near to the new guide lines about the theme of the water saving.
Also in this situation Teorema has been extremely coherent to its Water Saving Philosophy, not only promoting its products but also realising its catalogues with recycled paper and trying to save energy during the production cycle.

NdA
The direction followed by Teorema started in 2006 with the launch of Jetto, going on with the collections Tree and Duck in 2007 and with the two new projects Tamo and Tamo2 in 2008.
In 2009 the inner technical office makes a series of modifications to the mixer Talia which is able today to save about 40% of water.
It was immediately clear to the whole management that the only possible way to demonstrate to the market the truth of Rubinetterie Teorema statements about the water saving was making an auto-comparison not with whatever other mixer, but with one of its best-sellers: Golf, the mixer with the highest selling by Teorema.
It was therefore chosen a laboratory approved by the SINAL (National System for the Laboratories Approval). The test run on different pressure values and with the following stages: 1. setting of the first pressure step - 2. waiting time for the balancing of the flow - 3. reading of the average flow within 1 minute of water-input.
